About this section: Policy LimitsLimits that trigger a soft prompt or a hard block.
Purpose
Set how much a guest can do before they hit a soft prompt (a friendly nudge) or a hard block. These are mostly used to limit how much premium content guests can preview.
Key fields
- Policy: Which policy this limit belongs to.
- Audience: Who is being counted (such as guests).
- Action: Which action is being counted (such as previews).
- Window and Threshold: How many actions in how many seconds trigger the limit.
- What Happens: Soft prompt or hard block.
Example
Show a soft prompt after a guest watches three premium previews in a day, then hard-block them at a higher number.
Consequences
- A very low number can stop discovery.
- A very high number can make your premium gating useless.
- Hard block is stronger than soft prompt â use it carefully.
