Policies

About this section: Policy LimitsLimits that trigger a soft prompt or a hard block.

Purpose

Set how much a guest can do before they hit a soft prompt (a friendly nudge) or a hard block. These are mostly used to limit how much premium content guests can preview.

Key fields

  • Policy: Which policy this limit belongs to.
  • Audience: Who is being counted (such as guests).
  • Action: Which action is being counted (such as previews).
  • Window and Threshold: How many actions in how many seconds trigger the limit.
  • What Happens: Soft prompt or hard block.

Example

Show a soft prompt after a guest watches three premium previews in a day, then hard-block them at a higher number.

Consequences

  • A very low number can stop discovery.
  • A very high number can make your premium gating useless.
  • Hard block is stronger than soft prompt — use it carefully.
