Purpose

Tags are keywords you've chosen to feature publicly. Add new ones, edit display names, or set up alternate spellings here.

Key fields

• Display Name: The tag name customers see.
• Kind: Optional grouping for related tags.
• Public: Turn on to make customers see this as a browseable Tag.
• Aliases: Other spellings that should also count as this tag.

Example

Create a Featured Set tag to organize a special collection. Keep it private at first, then make it public when ready.

Consequences

• A tag can be useful internally even if it isn't public yet.
• Public tags appear in the Tag section and in tag URLs.
• Demoting a tag moves it back to plain Keywords.
